Better Cotton Claims Training

Please note this training is mandatory and must be attended to satisfy one of the eligibility criteria to make use of any Better Cotton Claims.

We will cover:

– The evolving legislation in different markets pertaining to sustainability claims

– How to communicate about Better Cotton across different channels

– What Better Cotton resources are available to you

– What makes a credible sustainability claim

– How to get in contact with us

– How to get your Better Cotton claims approved

We will not be covering more fundamental aspects of Better Cotton claim, such as mass balance (our Chain of Custody model) and claims eligibility. If you wish to attend a session that covers these topics, please sign up for the ‘Better Cotton Monthly Training for Retailers and Brands’ session.

US Field Trip: Better Cotton, Quarterway Cotton Growers, ECOM and Soil Health Institute

Join Better Cotton, Quarterway Cotton Growers, ECOM, and Soil Health Institute in the cotton fields of Plainview, Texas, September 19-20, 2024.

The goal of this field trip is to bring Better Cotton Members to meet with Quarterway Cotton Growers, develop meaningful connections and learn more about a local, multi-crop West Texas supply chain. The Plainview area is unique in the diversity of its cropping systems and attendees will see real-life examples of circularity in practice. The event will also include a Membership update covering topics including Better Cotton’s field level impact and traceability program.

This is a free event for Members only. Space is limited, so please register if you are interested in attending.

Lunch, dinner, and transportation from the hotel to Quarterway on September 19, as well as breakfast on September 20, will be provided. Attendees are responsible for their travel and accommodation in Lubbock.

Supplier Training Programme: Part 2: Get Ready for Traceability – using the Better Cotton Platform (English)

This interactive training session is directed to all existing and new Better Cotton Suppliers and Manufacturers who are interested in learning more about the new functionality within the Better Cotton Platform (BCP) that will enable Physical (also known as Traceable) Better Cotton. This BCP functionality will only be available to those who have completed the Chain of Custody onboarding and assessment process.

This session is most useful for persons responsible for entering transactions of the BCP.

This includes the following topics:

  • How to access the updated BCP
  • New functionality and changes introduced within the BCP
  • How to acknowledge and enter transactions
