The Website is a site operated by Better Cotton, a Non-Profit registered in Switzerland. The Website is protected by copyright, database rights and other intellectual property and related rights (“Rights”) which are owned by Better Cotton. All such Rights are reserved.

Better Cotton, its members and partners take reasonable precautions to prevent computer viruses or any other such items that may damage the operation of computers or property or otherwise engage in computer misuse (“Malicious Programmes”) on the Website but cannot accept any liability for them (as set out below).You are advised to take precautions yourself such as the use of suitable protective software. You must not misuse the Website by knowingly introducing Malicious Programmes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server on which the Website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to the Website. You must not attack the Website via a denial-of-service attack or a istributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you may commit an offence under relevant legislation. Better Cotton will report any such breach to any relevant law enforcement authorities and will co-operate with any such authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the Website will cease immediately.
Better Cotton aims to update the Website regularly, and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, Better Cotton may suspend access to the Website, or close it indefinitely. Better Cotton will not be liable if for any reason the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Images on this Website may be reproduced for non-commercial, scientific, educational and personal use only. Copying or redistribution in any manner for personal or corporate gain is not permitted without written permission from the Better Cotton Initiative. Commercial publication, exploitation, or use of Better Cotton Initiative images, graphics or html files on commercial websites is specifically prohibited.
Users may download, print, photocopy, and distribute these images for their own non-commercial use, provided that the Better Cotton copyright notice is included – © Better Cotton – and photographer or artist (if given) is credited. Communicating Data:
Better Cotton is very careful in communicating data in a simple and clear way.
To date, Better Cotton has not collected results indicators for long enough to be able to prove impact, which will require five years’ worth of data. But we do have data which shows how Better Cotton farmers compare to control farmers who use conventional methods to grow cotton. As we collect an increasing amount of data year on year, further studies will be carried out to identify real impact. Better Cotton aims to update the Website regularly, and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, Better Cotton may suspend access to the Website, or close it indefinitely.
