Better Cotton is grown in 22 countries around the world and accounts for 22% of global cotton production. In the 2022-23 cotton season, 2.13 million licensed Better Cotton Farmers grew 5.47 million tonnes of Better Cotton.

Women in Cotton:
Chats for Change with Abigail Hoelscher, Ashley Paddock and Mashiat Tarannum

Women in Cotton's next Chats for Change event gives participants the opportunity to join delegates from 2024’s class of Complete Cotton as they discuss the history of women in the workplace, where we currently stand and what we can do for a more gender diverse future in cotton. Leading this event are:
- Abigail Hoelscher (Senior Market Analyst at Plains Cotton Cooperative Association)
- Ashley Paddock (US Origination Lead for Global Cotton Business at Cargill)
- Mashiat Tarannum (Executive in Procurement Raw Materials at Square Textiles PLC)
Held via Zoom on Thursday 29 August at 15:00 (BST), this event is open to everyone in the cotton and textile industry, regardless of gender.
