Responsible Sourcing and Ethical Trade Forum
March 29, 2023 - March 30, 2023
Rebecca Owen, Head Of Fundraising at Better Cotton, will be speaking at the Responsible Sourcing and Ethical Trade Forum, held in London from 29 to 30 March 2023.
This two-day business forum, organised by Innovation Forum, will assess how companies can develop and implement robust human rights due diligence and responsible sourcing policies. The event will look in-depth into the practicalities of supply chain transformation and what this means for the future of (ethical) trade.
Through off-the-record debate, expert practitioners will discuss the biggest opportunities for transformation as businesses adapt practices to comply with rapidly evolving legislation. The forum will explore examples of ethical, responsible and transparent supply chains that create a positive impact.
Rebecca will be joining the session on how sustainable rural development can drive the human rights agenda, alongside Lahari de Alwis from Twinings and Ruth Thomas from WBCSD, and moderator Tanya Richard. The event will also feature senior representatives from Mondelēz International, Ethical Trading Initiative, The Body Shop, Unseen and many more.
