Today Better Cotton is grown in 23 countries around the world and accounts for 23% of global cotton production. In the 2019-20 cotton season, 2.4 million licensed farmers grew 6.2 million metric tonnes of Better Cotton.
We want to be absolutely sure that we’re making a difference. That’s why besides supporting and training millions of farmers and farm workers around the world to grow cotton more sustainably, we collect data on everything we do.
Better Cotton Farmer Results provide an overview of the outcomes Better Cotton Farmers are experiencing at field-level by participating in the Better Cotton programme and adhering to the Better Cotton Principles and Criteria (P&C).
Today Better Cotton has nearly 2,100 members, reflecting the breadth and diversity of the industry. Members of a global community that understands the mutual benefits of sustainable cotton farming. The moment you join, you become part of this too.
