Do you want to be involved in pioneering discussions about the future of sustainable cotton? Do you want to network with Better Cotton Members and hear directly from cotton farmers from across the globe?
This year, the annual Better Cotton Conference will be held online and in Istanbul, Türkiye – not just a cultural hub, but the largest city of a country with a rich history of cotton production and textile manufacturing.
The event will take place 26-27 June 2024, in-person at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center. Our packed agenda will explore themes ranging from people to data – living incomes for farmers, gender equality, impacts of legislation on supply chains, opportunities created by traceability – just to name a few. The schedule will blend plenary meetings with breakout sessions, panels and interactive workshops. All plenary sessions will be streamed live for the online conference audience.
Our Better Cotton team based in Türkiye and our Strategic Partner, İyi Pamuk Uygulamaları Derneği (IPUD), are excited to convene so many stakeholders in their home country.
Türkiye, being a leading producer and consumer of cotton, is an attractive destination for the 2024 Better Cotton Conference. With centuries of cotton farming history, Türkiye is more than ready to welcome conference participants from all over the world.
These two days will reflect how Better Cotton always approaches its work and mission – Meeting challenges head-on, and seeking to drive tangible impact.
The Better Cotton Conference is a unique opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders, especially cotton farmers, to shape a sustainable future for the cotton industry. Let’s join forces to drive real impact at field level and across the entire supply chain.
